What is FlightBox ?

Since most of the comfortable web-experience is when you dont have to take too many steps from point-one-to-point-two, its important that users, when visiting sites dont have to leave current website. So, for HTML sites you got RokBox Which is mostly used with Joomla! and allows user to explore another webpage without leaving the original page. But, its Joomla! Yes, it means i work alot with Joomla! and the worst part is that i have not yet figured out how to open RokBox from Flash… ehhhhh !! To be Honest ive not even tried with LightBox.

Anyhow, FlightBox is a AS3 and JS lib to call floating box on yoursite, it allows you to call both webpages as well images in that sweeeet box. Many flash developers have made their “own” solution for that problem and that is a “box” inside the flash. Which of course means that flash file needs to be scaled 100% x 100%. But what if you want to Box up a webpage… not that easy And since flash itself doesnt handle HTML in that way so…. just to open a image in a FlashBox.. maybe interesting for some.

Anyhow, let me know if FlightBox is in interest! The more poking on this from the more motivated ill be, PROMISE!
